The plate is a white porcelain double gold-rimmed decorative plate offered in two sizes, 8 1/4" and 10 1/2".  It is not dishwasher or microwave safe and cannot be used to serve food.  May be hand washed. The sleeping baby is a 3D ceramic figurine; painted, glazed and fired with personal choice of hair color; brown, red, blonde or dark brown; dark or light skin; and pajama color, blue for a boy or pink for a girl. The birth information; first, middle, last name, date of birth, time, weight and length are on a water slide decal that is fired on and permanent.  You have a choice of two fonts: CommScriptTT or Jester and three ink colors; pink, blue or black.
